Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a leading FMCG company in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

About the Role

This position would be ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills and experience within a food manufacturing environment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
  • Assist with breakdowns and implement corrective actions
  • Undertake planned maintenance activities to prevent downtime
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve productivity and efficiency
Requirements
  • Recognised engineering qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
  • Experience with pneumatics and electrical systems an advantage
What We Offer

We are offering a competitive salary of £43,000, plus shift cover rates of £85 per shift. Other benefits include 14% pension contributions, 33 days holiday, cycle-to-work scheme, and access to health and dental services.
