Job Description

Rapier Employment is seeking a skilled LGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a leading provider of temporary and permanent workers in the Commercial, Production, and Logistics sector, we offer a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to work with a well-established client in the Stoke on Trent area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Meet the minimum requirement of 4 shifts per week and a minimum of 8 hours paid.
Requirements:
  • Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
  • CPC Card
  • Digi Card
  • Minimum of 6 months continuous Class 1 driving experience.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rates: £19.00 for Monday to Friday days, £20.00 for Monday to Friday nights, £21.00 for Saturday, and £22.00 for Sunday.
  • Overtime pay: Time and a half after 8 hours daily.
