About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Front of House Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for assisting the Front of House Manager in all aspects of their duties, including:

  • Managing all aspects of the Front Office, inspiring the team to provide excellent service and exceed guest expectations.
  • Assisting with the management of rotas, timesheets, and holiday entitlements, considering occupancy and large group movements.
  • Compiling statistics for the Front Office and providing related reports.
  • Coaching, training, and supporting the team to provide consistently high standards while continually looking to improve.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong leadership and motivational abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and drive to maintain high standards.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in managing, coaching, challenging, and developing teams.
  • A positive and approachable manner with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to use initiative in challenging situations and under pressure.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A smart and professional appearance.
  • Proven track record in a similar position within a 4-star hotel.
  • Good working knowledge of Opera PMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management preferred.
  • High standard of English, both written and spoken.
