Role Overview

We are seeking a Youth Development Professional to join our dedicated team at Teach Now. In this rewarding role, you will provide tailored support to young adults with special needs, fostering their social, emotional, and academic growth in a thriving learning environment.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience in supporting young adults with SEN, ensuring access to resources and adapting to individual needs.
  • A strong understanding of personal care requirements and ability to provide compassionate assistance is essential.
  • This is an opportunity to collaborate with experienced SLTs and staff to deliver effective support and make a genuine difference in students' lives.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Support students with physical and learning disabilities, promoting inclusivity and accessibility in all aspects of education.
  2. Assist non-verbal students in communicating through alternative methods, encouraging active participation and engagement.
  3. Cultivate a positive and empathetic approach to helping students, prioritizing their emotional well-being and safety.
Requirements
  • A minimum of [£25,000 - £30,000] salary per annum, depending on experience.
  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in supporting young adults with SEN.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and adapt to changing circumstances.
