Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are working in association with a small Trafford-based primary school to provide a SEN Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher and pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) provision. This role would involve working with a team of Teaching Assistants to provide appropriate support for SEN pupils.

About the Role:

  • £84+ per day through PAYE, no umbrella company or agency fees
  • Full-time role Monday-Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Opportunity to work with multiple Primary year groups
  • ASAP start following registration with Teaching Personnel

Responsibilities:

  • Support a class teacher in providing a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Work with a team of Teaching Assistants to provide support for SEN pupils
  • Familiarity with appropriate safeguarding practices and support colleagues
  • Experience with SEN children, especially those with ASD, is preferable

About the School:

The school is located in the Stretford/Trafford area with convenient transport links by bus and tram. The school's location is easy to reach from anywhere in and around Bury and the surrounding areas.

  • Teaching Personnel offers FREE child protection and prevent duty training
  • Applicants must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
