Join NELFT NHS Foundation Trust as a Paediatric Feeding Specialist and be part of a diverse and dynamic team that provides community and mental healthcare services to adults and children in North East London, Essex, Kent, and Medway.

The role involves assessing swallowing function for solids and liquids, identifying swallowing impairments, and developing strategies to improve safe eating and drinking skills. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Dietitians, Occupational Therapists, and Specialist Children's Nurses, to provide comprehensive care to children with physical feeding difficulties.

As a key member of the Children's Feeding and Dietetic service, you will be responsible for managing eating and drinking risks, interpreting video fluoroscopy reports, and developing individualised care plans. You will also contribute to the development of the service, participating in training sessions, and sharing your expertise with colleagues.

We are seeking an experienced Dysphagia Speech Therapist who can work in a community-based setting, supporting children living in Basildon, Brentwood, and Thurrock. The ideal candidate will have a recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification, postgraduate training in dysphagia, and experience in working with patients with neurological conditions.
