IT Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead key IT systems projects for a major logistics firm near Northampton. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Transport Management Systems (TMS) and be able to understand the challenges and benefits of such systems in a logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead IT systems projects from cradle to grave, focusing on existing site software upgrades and new site installations.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, other project managers, and senior colleagues to scope and discover, evaluate risks and costs, and detail deliverable benefits.
  • Deliver IT projects that meet the needs of the logistics firm, leveraging expertise in WMS and/or TMS.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with WMS and/or TMS in a logistics environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering IT projects and natural rapport-building abilities to establish relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the logistics industry and its challenges.
