**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead our conservation and land management programme in the South Pennine uplands.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject, with expertise in managing upland ecosystems, particularly peatlands. A strong understanding of programme management, leadership, and team collaboration is essential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop new opportunities and innovative ways to provide evidence for the effectiveness of our work.
  • Lead a team responsible for collecting vital data and implementing project initiatives.
  • Foster partnerships and secure funding through grants and other sources.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, ecology, or conservation biology).
  • Proven experience in programme management, leadership, and team collaboration.
  • Strong skills in grant writing, fundraising, and partnership development.
  • Familiarity with the South Pennine SAC and its unique ecosystem.
