Key Objectives of the Role:

  • Provide overall leadership to staff and contribute to the development of a flexible and motivated staff, a culture of continuous improvement, all underpinned by a Human Resources strategy which assists the staff to meet the organisation's goals.
  • Advise the Board on key management, housing, social, economic, political and operational factors and assist the Board to develop and maintain LHA's strategies, policies and services.
  • Successful track record of effective partnership working and networking at the highest levels, with key stakeholders, including regulators, central government, local government and communities.
  • A consistent track record of achievement in a senior executive position within a successful, customer-focused, social housing provider.
  • A credible base of relevant senior management experience within housing.
  • A track record of building and managing effective relationships with Boards, customers, staff, partners and stakeholders.

You will lead the organisation, working closely with the Leadership Team and advising our Voluntary Board, to ensure a high-quality approach and the best strategic decisions.
