Job Description

Job Summary

Cover-More is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our global healthcare provider network strategy. As the Director of Global Health Networks, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive network strategy that ensures high-quality, cost-effective healthcare services for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global healthcare provider network strategy that aligns with Cover-More's business objectives.
  • Lead the creation of a Global Network Operating Model, establishing best-in-class processes and protocols to deliver a superior customer experience.
  • Manage all functions across the global provider network to ensure quality control, appropriate medical governance, and enhancement of the customer experience and brand reputation.
  • Formulate strategies and continuous improvements to ensure Global Network Management (GNM) is strategically aligned to the rollout of Cover-More's Global Operating Model and overarching vision and roadmap.
  • Have fiscal responsibility and control of OPEX for global network teams around audits, travel, conferences, and consultancy expenses in line with budgetary constraints and company policy.
  • Work with Risk and Compliance, and the Medical leadership team to maintain and improve compliance and risk frameworks across the network divisions of the business.
  • Establish productive relationships with network leaders and teams globally to create consistency in the delivery, execution, and engagement of Global Providers.
  • Offer solutions to provider network issues that are affecting or may affect the delivery of service to our customers and/or other Cover-More members.
  • Support continual improvement across network and related line of business functions.
  • Work with the Salesforce team on enhancements to the Global Care Network database.
  • Be responsible for provider account management, including oversight of service delivery, support for issue resolution in consultation with relevant management, relationship management, contractual negotiations, and support for escalations or complaints.
  • Support protocols and processes; development, revisions, and implementation.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in the same or similar role.
  • Assistance industry experience, or experience in managing operational teams across multiple sites.
  • The ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, and strong listening and decision-making skills (Critical thinking).
  • The ability to consistently deliver results in a high-pressure, fast-paced professional services environment.
  • A demonstrated ability to work proactively with staff to constantly identify areas for improvement within the operational structure and organization as a whole.
  • A successful track record of network service delivery.
