We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Welfare Officer to join our team at Trafford Children's Home. As a key member of our staff, you will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people, including developing effective action plans to reduce risks and build on strengths.
- Establish strong relationships with children and their families, working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.
- Contribute to a nurturing and restorative environment, promoting the well-being and resilience of children and young people.
- Work closely with the staff team to provide high standards of care and accommodation, ensuring the needs of each child are met.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a good role model, advocate, and listener, with a commitment to continually learning and improving your practice. You will also need to be flexible, resilient, and able to work effectively in a team.

Additional Information
The home operates a rota to provide 24-hour care, and you will be required to work on a rota and undertake sleeping-in duties. An enhanced DBS check with children barred list check will be required, and you will need to be able to drive in this role.
