Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at MPI Limited.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out scheduled vehicle service and repair work, in accordance with manufacturers' standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out vehicle inspections and diagnose defects using a knowledge of vehicle technologies.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of vehicle parts, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Work efficiently and safely in the workshop, meeting customer requirements and maximizing productivity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain workshop standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Take responsibility for the daily maintenance of workshop equipment and report any defects or issues.
  • Develop and improve efficient processes to achieve quality and efficiency targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service, summarizing work details and answering customer questions.
  • Coach and support apprentice technicians, promoting their development and growth.
  • Attend specialized training as required by manufacturers to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to provide a seamless service to customers.
  • Ensure opportunities for sales are followed up by the most appropriate specialist.
  • Report technical problems using appropriate procedures.
  • Handle customer data in line with GDPR regulations.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required to meet business needs.
