Caseworker (Aintree Hospital Trauma Support Specialist)

Day One Trauma Support seeks a dedicated and compassionate Caseworker to join our team. As a Caseworker, you will play a vital role in delivering and developing our Day One Casework bedside model to patients and their families impacted by serious injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with NHS clinical staff and community organizations to address the needs of patients affected by catastrophic injury.
- Implement a case management approach to individuals, assessing and identifying needs, and providing support through signposting, referrals, and direct assistance.
- Provide consistency in assessment and access to specialist legal advice, supporting rehabilitation and NHS cost recovery.
- Maintain accurate case records, using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, in line with Day One policies and procedures.
- Build awareness of our charity's purpose through strong relationships across the major trauma network, ensuring access to support for those who need it.
- Work with local authority, statutory, and voluntary organizations to provide patient and family support and advocacy.
