Job Opportunity: National Locums is seeking a Consultant with expertise in Gastroenterology to fill a locum position in one of the most prestigious NHS Trusts in London.
Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Consultant to cover an unexpected gap in service provision, with a focus on hepatology and liver disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular outpatient clinics for patients with acute and chronic liver disease
- Perform endoscopy procedures, including ERCP, depending on individual competencies
- Provide ward cover for liver patients on a 1:5 rota
- Opportunity to work additional sessions to assist with reducing backlog and waiting times
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in hepatology and liver disease, with excellent clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Consultation and Negotiation: Consultation with the department can be arranged, and a negotiable pay rate will be offered depending on the candidate's experience.
