Store Experience Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Store Experience Associate at St Peter's Hospice.
This role will provide an excellent opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, including customer service, stock management, and team collaboration. You will receive comprehensive training and support from our experienced management team.
The successful candidate will be passionate about working in a fast-paced retail environment, with a genuine interest in home wear, furniture, and charity retail. They will be able to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing situations.

The details:
- Estimated salary: £23,000 per year, equivalent to £11.18 per hour
- Working 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7
- This is a temporary position
Key responsibilities:
- In the absence of other management, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, ensuring it trades safely and legally
- Assist the management team in achieving profit targets by reducing costs and maximizing sales
- Work as part of the overall shop team, carrying out tasks necessary to ensure the success and smooth running of the shop
- Support delivering a high standard of presentation throughout the shop, including windows and the shop floor
- Assist the management team in implementing changes to ensure optimum sales
- Encourage all stock donations from the public and support the management team in generating new donations
- Demonstrate our values through your role and actively support them
