About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Team Lead C++ to join our team at Code Wizards. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical and people management aspects of development, ensuring the successful delivery of key deliverables for our clients.

In this role, you will lead the engineering team, provide technical direction, and ensure the implementation of high-quality, maintainable code across the project. You will also collaborate with various clients to implement, integrate, and optimise game systems, while fostering a productive and motivated development team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in C++, experience with Unreal Engine 4/5, and excellent leadership skills. They will also possess knowledge of multiplayer systems, network programming, and optimising for performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering team and oversee the technical and people management aspects of development.
  • Provide technical direction and ensure the implementation of high-quality, maintainable code across the project.
  • Collaborate with clients to implement, integrate, and optimise game systems.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Lead Engineer with strong proficiency in C++.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5 (in any capacity).
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage the performance of a technical team.
  • Knowledge of multiplayer systems, network programming, and optimising for performance and scalability.

Estimated salary: $150,000 - $190,000 per annum.
