Senior Countermeasure Development Engineer

About the Role:


This is an exceptional opportunity to join our Electronic Warfare Support Group (EWOS) as a Senior Countermeasure Development Engineer. You will be responsible for developing countermeasures, utilising your expertise in physics and mathematical principles at degree level.


Your key responsibilities will include developing models, adding new features to our in-house countermeasure simulation software tool, CounterWorX, and solving customer challenges and requirements. You will also manage technical work for junior team members and line-manage some junior engineers.


We require a skilled individual with experience in at least one of Electro-Optics (EO), Infra-Red (IR), or Radio Frequency (RF) sensors and systems within a defence setting. Your ability to develop deterministic, stochastic, or exploratory models will help optimise countermeasure parameters for best performance against specific threats.
