Welcome to Wayman Learning Trust, a vibrant and inclusive school community located in London. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Year 4 SEN Teacher to join our team in our specialist unit for deaf children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Year 4 students in our deaf provision, utilizing a tailored approach to meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement inclusive lesson plans, ensuring all students can thrive and succeed.
  • Work closely with the SENCO to provide additional support and resources for students with special needs.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment, promoting academic excellence and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in education or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching at the primary school level, preferably in Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Direct experience working with children with special needs, either through placements or volunteering.
