**Distribution Operations Manager**
We are seeking an experienced Distribution Operations Manager to join our team at Scantec Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our products to customers across various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an annual plan to ensure seamless delivery of products to customers.
- Own the operational elements of the business to enable the sales and marketing team to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain the highest standards of excellence in safety, quality, and hygiene to ensure customer orders are met to specification and received on time.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external suppliers, including logistics partners, to ensure contractual and service requirements are delivered.
- Manage the effective stock management, receiving goods from our own manufacturing facilities, and ensuring food traceability is maintained.
- Provide visibility of accurate management information and KPIs to galvanize the team in the business, driving attention to detail and communicating the right information to different audiences.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a complex, fast-paced, FMCG food manufacturing warehouse facility.
- Proven track record of effectively coaching a team to do their best work, injecting pace and dynamism into the facility.
- Strong communication skills with a proven delivery in setting and achieving KPIs.
