About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Project Engineer to join our team at Service Care Solutions. As an Instrumentation Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the full life-cycle of chemical plant instrumentation projects from conceptualization to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the design, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation systems, including level, flow, temperature, pressure, and mass instrumentation.
  • Develop and implement management of change systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all instrumentation systems, including modifications, repairs, and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Hold a recognized Instrumentation Apprenticeship and be educated to HNC Level as a minimum.
  • Several years' experience managing instrumentation projects in the chemical process or similar regulated industry sector.
  • Previous experience working on a Higher or Lower Tier COMAH site is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of DSEAR/ATEX compliance and experience with instrumentation documents, including Loop Drawings, I/O Lists, P&ID's, and Network architecture Diagrams.
  • Good understanding of control, safety systems, and functional safety standards, including IEC61508 and IEC61511.
  • Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance, Total Productive Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement is highly beneficial.
  • Experience working to ISO9001 standards is essential.
