Supporting Young Learners:

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant KS4 team at an Alternative Education school in Gloucester. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young learners with special educational needs and disabilities.

Job Summary:
This full-time, long-term position offers a competitive salary of £85-£100 per day. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Your key responsibilities will include providing tailored support to students with special educational needs and disabilities, assisting in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs), and fostering positive relationships with students.

Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with SEND or alternative provisions is desirable
• A proactive and patient approach to working with young learners
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
