We are seeking a Criminology Resettlement Specialist to join our team at Red 5 People, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the rehabilitation of clients across prison and probation settings.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients to support their resettlement and secure employment. This will involve helping clients develop skills, securing accommodation, and gaining necessary support. You will work closely with our clients to identify their needs and goals, and provide guidance and support to help them achieve these objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable clients, particularly those with mental health issues, substance abuse problems, or experiencing homelessness. A criminology background and relevant volunteer experience are also highly desirable. If you have previously worked in roles such as a prison officer, probation officer, resettlement worker, supported housing officer, drug and alcohol worker, careers advisor, employment advisor, or hostel worker, we encourage you to apply.

As a Criminology Resettlement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. You will work across HMP Send (typically 3-4 days a week) and then Guildford probation trust. We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
