Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team at FedEx. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and trailers to meet planned schedules and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and complete signed service records to ensure compliance.
  • Investigate and rectify vehicle defects, completing associated paperwork as needed.
  • Prepare vehicles for annual MOT testing to ensure first-time pass.
  • Perform ad-hoc repairs and troubleshooting to maintain vehicle integrity.

Requirements:

  • Valid LGV C&E license (class one) and applicable vocational training.
  • Knowledge of automotive equipment and testing/troubleshooting tools.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components.
  • Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driving license.
