Part Time Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Disability Social Care 0-25 Service as a part-time Team Manager. As the Team Manager of the Disabled Children's Referral & Access Team, you will be working alongside the Children with Disabilities Team and the Young Adults Team. You will also work closely with our in-house providers of short breaks, health and education professionals, and a range of private and voluntary organisations. Experience of partnership working and networking is essential, as well as experience of delegating tasks and the ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team.
Your role will include allocating work, performance monitoring, and supporting the development of the team. Prior experience and understanding of SEND are essential, in addition to having a safeguarding background and experience in managing risk.

We're looking for a confident and dynamic individual who enjoys building relationships and helping to support the most vulnerable children and young people in our county.
You must:
- Be a qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration.
- Have knowledge of statutory requirements, safeguarding, and local procedures.
- Have had supervisory experience and be confident at managing risk.
