We are seeking an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant to work closely with a child who has an EHCP. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support to help the child regulate their emotions, behavior, and access their learning journey.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 qualification, excellent communication skills, and a fun, proactive approach to working with children. They will also have a good understanding of de-escalation strategies and emotional regulation, and be willing to complete Team Teach training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to the child to help them regulate their emotions and behavior
- Work closely with the teaching team to deliver an outstanding learning experience for the child
- Use de-escalation strategies and emotional regulation techniques to support the child
- Participate in Team Teach training to develop skills and knowledge
