Job Summary:
We are looking for a Fire Risk Assessor to conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in fire safety, experience in conducting type 1-4 risk assessments, and the ability to identify solutions to fire safety-related problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough fire risk assessments to identify potential fire hazards and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Provide Fire Safety Advice: Offer expert fire safety advice to clients, ensuring they comply with current legislation and regulations.
- Develop Fire Safety Strategies: Collaborate with clients to develop effective fire safety strategies and management plans.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Legislation: Stay current with changing fire safety legislation and regulations, ensuring clients are compliant.
- Support Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation of documents, policies, and procedures related to fire safety.
Requirements:
- Keen Interest in Fire Safety: A genuine interest in fire safety and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
- Experience in Fire Risk Assessments: Proven experience in conducting type 1-4 fire risk assessments.
- Fire Safety Knowledge: Strong knowledge of fire safety principles, legislation, and regulations.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify solutions to fire safety-related problems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively advise clients on fire safety matters.
