Learning and Development Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Lead to join our team at New Barn School in Newbury, Berkshire. As an Assistant Headteacher, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of our students and supporting the development of our teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our teaching staff
  • Work closely with our senior leadership team to develop and implement school improvement strategies
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement, and identify areas for improvement

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of school improvement, a passion for building strong relationships with young people, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of up to £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and a range of benefits including life assurance, a pension scheme, and access to mental health support services.
