We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pharmacy Dispensary Specialist to join our team in providing high-quality clinical services to patients in the local community.

About the Role:

This is a key position in delivering safe and effective pharmacy services, requiring accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a pharmacy setting, be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and possess a passion for customer care. Additionally, they will be able to coach and lead the Dispensary team and work efficiently in a busy environment.

A Day in the Life of a Pharmacy Dispensary Specialist:

  • Checking prescriptions accurately while adhering to regulatory and company standards
  • Ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, and endorsing prescriptions
  • Providing expert advice on medicines, products, and services offered by the pharmacy
  • Building strong relationships with the pharmacy team and coaching them to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Ensuring legal, safe, and ethical decision-making within the pharmacy
  • Identifying opportunities to engage external stakeholders and drive locally commissioned services
  • Maintaining efficient dispensary operations to minimize dispensing losses
What You'll Need:
  • Previous pharmacy experience
  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Prioritization of customer care and ability to coach and lead the Dispensary team
  • Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician qualification; however, we are happy to provide training if you do not hold this certification
