About the Role

To develop the company's web applications, built in ReactJS and ASP.NET Core, we're looking for a skilled developer who can help us create lean, pragmatic solutions that leverage the latest techniques across the full technology stack. We offer time and resources for training and to get up to speed with the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop web applications using ReactJS and ASP.NET Core
  • Work with the UX team to follow design guidelines
  • Coach and mentor other developers on topics including design, coding, automated testing, quality best practices, and managing technical debt
  • Use code reviews to help drive quality improvements and share knowledge
  • Work with the team at a technical level to guide them
Requirements
  • 6 years' commercial experience developing web applications, preferably single page applications and APIs
  • Experience as a technical lead on projects within a small group of developers
  • Strong JavaScript skills
  • Proficient in use of automated testing in both the front and back ends (unit, integration, etc)
  • 3 years' commercial experience developing HTTP RESTful APIs in.NET
  • Working within an Agile methodology (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban)
Desirable Skills
  • Financial Services industry experience
  • Mobile App Development - ideally React Native, or iOS / Android
  • SVG and HTML5 Canvas
  • Flow or TypeScript
  • E2E testing (cypress) and API testing
  • Experience of building and deploying web applications and troubleshooting issues
  • Azure: Storage, Service Bus, Azure functions
