We are seeking an experienced Classroom Support Professional to work in primary schools based in the Barnsley area.

As a key member of our team, you will provide general classroom support to class teachers and assist with lesson preparation and set up. Your duties will also include providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in primary and secondary schools, as well as strong resilience and patience. If you are passionate about supporting students and working collaboratively with teachers, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role:

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students in the Barnsley area. You will work closely with class teachers to identify areas where students need additional support and develop strategies to address these needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Assist class teachers with lesson preparation and set up
  • Support class teachers with pupil progress reports and assessments
  • Liaise with outside agencies when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in primary and secondary schools
  • Strong resilience and patience
  • Degree in Education or related field (not necessary)
