We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teacher to join our team at a high-achieving school in Hackney, Northeast London. As a Year 5 Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education to our students, promoting their academic and personal growth, and contributing to a supportive and dynamic learning environment.

About the Role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and motivate our students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behavior and positive relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 5 students in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
