About the Role

As a Safeguarding Children Specialist, you will be responsible for providing independent scrutiny and advice to help us transform our safeguarding practices. You will work closely with our partners to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these issues. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us to deliver our ambitious vision for safeguarding children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing independent scrutiny and advice to our safeguarding partnership
  • Identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these issues
  • Working closely with our partners to deliver our safeguarding vision
  • Developing and maintaining productive partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Analyzing complex information and providing robust scrutiny and challenge
  • Having a detailed understanding of relevant law, statutory guidance, and regulations
  • Having knowledge and understanding of effective partnership working in safeguarding children
