Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Therapist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major national initiative, and an innovative service which is fundamentally changing the way in which psychological treatments are provided in the NHS in England.

As an Advanced Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-intensity cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions to individuals with common mental health problems, including depression, anxiety disorders, and other conditions. You will work closely with a multi-professional workforce to significantly increase access to treatment within a primary care setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering CBT interventions, either individually or in group settings, and will be proficient in using various therapeutic approaches. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients with common mental health problems.
  • To deliver high-intensity CBT interventions, either individually or in group settings, as appropriate.
  • To maintain accurate records of client progress and outcomes, ensuring compliance with trust policies and procedures.


Requirements
  • A relevant qualification in psychology or a related field, such as clinical psychology or counseling psychology.
  • Experience in delivering CBT interventions, either individually or in group settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
