Job Title: Experienced Night Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Night Manager to lead our Early Years team at Highwoods Primary School. As a Night Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our wraparound care and holiday club services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
  • Work with your team to develop weekly planning and maintain a daily timetable of activities.
  • Provide comprehensive care for children, including collecting them from school and delivering them safely to parents/carers.
  • Ensure each child is cared for to the highest possible standard, with regard to their unique personalities and in line with company policy.
  • Provide refreshments and ensure hygiene, health, and safety standards are met.
  • Set up the play space, including moving furniture and play equipment.
  • Implement risk assessments and ensure ongoing risk assessments are used and updated as necessary.
  • Consult with children and involve them in planning activities.
  • Provide support and supervision to play workers and other staff, including volunteers, and deal with any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure regular fire drills are in place.
  • Administer and record keeping, including staff and child records, financial records, and working within an agreed budget.
  • Undertake relevant and appropriate training and conduct in-house training.
  • Work within the framework of the club's policies and procedures and ensure all staff adhere to them.
  • Manage children's behavior effectively.
  • Undertake relevant paperwork and keep up to date with documentation and legal requirements.
