6 Month Contract Opportunity for 1st Line Support Engineer – Outside IR35 – Coventry and Solihull, UK

We are seeking a proactive 1st Line Support Engineer to join our client's team on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This role is crucial in providing front-line IT support, handling a range of day-to-day IT issues, including password resets, computer troubleshooting, and printer maintenance.

The position is on-site across Coventry and Solihull, and a full, valid UK driving licence is required. Travel expenses are covered.

Requirements:

  • Previous 1st Line Support Experience: Demonstrated experience in a helpdesk or 1st line support role, ideally within an educational environment.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, and networking fundamentals.
  • Eligible for Enhanced DBS Certificate: A valid enhanced DBS certificate is required for this role. We can provide this for eligible candidates.
  • UK Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required to facilitate travel between sites.
