Overview of the Position

ICF Olson is looking for a skilled individual to play a key role in leading industrial decarbonisation projects and developing policies to support the transition to a low-carbon economy.

We anticipate that this role will have a salary range of £65,000 - £90,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out site assessments of industrial facilities to pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with clients to implement grants for industrial decarbonisation and energy efficiency initiatives.
  • Select and deploy renewable energy solutions while evaluating climate-related risks.
  • Supervise daily project tasks and interact with various stakeholders to foster effective communication.
  • Develop reports and maintain records to monitor progress and gauge outcomes.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as engineering, along with fluency in English.
  • Familiarity with decarbonisation, energy efficiency and climate change policies.
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis and Excel-based programming.
  • A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience.
  • A valid UK driving license and familiarity with decarbonisation solutions.
  • The ability to process complex information and present it effectively.
