Mechanical Engineering Trainer (Machining)

Location: Greater Manchester

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Trainer to join our team at an education provider in Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching groups of Mechanical Engineering apprentices on their hands-on machining/milling/turning skills (up to level 3) in the education provider's engineering workshop.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification and industry experience of Machining. If you do not have a teaching qualification, the education provider is willing to put you through the necessary training.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teach Mechanical Engineering apprentices on their hands-on machining/milling/turning skills
  2. Develop and deliver training programs to meet the needs of the apprentices
  3. Assess and provide feedback to apprentices on their progress

Requirements:

  1. Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification
  2. Industry experience of Machining
