About the Role

Cubed Resourcing is seeking an experienced HVAC Pipe Fitter to join our team for a long-term project. As an HVAC Pipe Fitter, you will play a vital role in the installation and maintenance of stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fitting and assembly of piping systems
  • Utilizing pipe threading machines
  • Bolting up flanges
  • Working with various pipe materials

Experience in air conditioning, ventilation, chilled, domestic, and gas pipe systems is essential to excel in this role.

Requirements
  • Qualification and/or apprenticeship training in pipefitting
  • Demonstrated experience in fitting and assembly
  • Proficiency in using pipe threading machines (1/2 inch to 2-inch diameter tube)
  • Skills in cutting, threading, and bending pipe
  • Familiarity with threaded carbon steel pipe and stainless steel trubore welded pipe spooling
  • Ability to install pumps, plantroom equipment, valves, and brackets
  • Proficiency in brazing and soldering copper pipework
  • Competency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Safety awareness in setting up and using plant and equipment
  • Experience in testing and inspecting pipe systems for leaks, functionality, and repair
