Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for reporting to the Service Manager and managing your own work in progress. You will ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment.

You will be working with an assortment of equipment including diesel, gas, and electric trucks, finding, diagnosing, and rectifying faults, and undertaking preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at their customer sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification is essential
  • Technical experience in Engines, Electrics (Diagnostics) or Hydraulics
  • IT Literate and comfortable with using the latest technology

Benefits

  • Attractive starting salary package circa £40k to £45k minimum in the first year
  • Overtime paid at time and a half over a 40-hour week
  • Working Hours 8 am to 4.30 pm Mon to Thurs, 8 am to 4 pm on Fridays
