About the Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering successful commercial infrastructure projects, managing variations and changes with customers, and working closely with internal departments to ensure profitable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Project Management: Oversee the commercial aspects of infrastructure projects from contract award to completion and final account.
  • Variation Management: Effectively manage and negotiate variations and changes with customers to ensure project profitability.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Experience: Previous experience working as a QS or Assistant QS in a commercial role, with a strong understanding of JCT Contracts and NEC3 or NEC4 contracts.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the construction industry, with a focus on commercial infrastructure projects.
