Job Summary:

Grandir UK is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team at our Dicky Birds after school club in Surbiton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and stimulating activities that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the nursery's curriculum, ensuring it meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Support and mentor students and unqualified staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the nursery's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
