Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit and Accounts Supervisor to join our team at Levitate Recruitment - Accountancy and Insolvency Recruitment Specialists in Preston. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing audit and accounts services, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and supporting the growth of our business.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise audit teams on site, ensuring timely completion of assignments within budget
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, developing relationships and identifying opportunities to add value
  • Prepare and present reports and other documentation for clients
  • Assist in arranging, preparing for, and attending planning and completion meetings with clients
  • Take responsibility for planning, fieldwork, and completion of statutory and other audits in various industries
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess recent ACA qualifications, sound technical knowledge, and experience in auditing standards and diverse audit and accounts clients. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, attention to detail, and flexibility in working practices are essential.

Strong IT skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft packages, accounts production software, audit and corporation tax software, Sage Line 50, and cloud-based accounting software.
