Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Contract Manager in maintaining effective stakeholder communications and engagement to understand the detailed business requirements of AWE stakeholders.

  • Assist in the production of contract Cost and Activity Schedules to ensure all contracts are fit for purpose, fully documented, and understood by relevant parties.

  • Ensure contract compliance against customer, regulatory, and legislative requirements, and manage contract change efficiently, effectively, and timely.

  • Support the Contract Manager in identifying service improvements and maximising value for money by developing and implementing corrective action plans for identified risks.

  • Maintain effective record keeping and change management of the contract in accordance with contractual governance procedures.

  • Ensure contract reporting and engagement strategy is in place to enable all key stakeholders to be aligned to contracts risks and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience with supporting and negotiating key operational contracts.

  • Numerate and able to translate and analyse a supplier's financial data.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate and persuade commercial information to a non-specialist audience.

  • Working knowledge of industry standard contracting models, such as NEC and JCT.

  • Experience of achieving success in highly pressurised environments to secure value for money and/or performance outcomes.
