We are seeking an experienced Advocacy Specialist to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. The successful candidate will work in partnership with other professionals to ensure that risk management and safeguarding duties are effectively met.

The role involves developing and maintaining effective partnership working with statutory, private and voluntary agencies to address the issue of domestic abuse. The successful candidate will hold a case load focusing on high-risk survivors of domestic abuse to provide medium to long term support, based on thorough risk assessment and individual safety and support planning.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of domestic abuse, including the impact on victims and their children. They will also have excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals.

The successful candidate will work within a multi-agency framework consisting of MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.
