We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team at Sphere Solutions Ltd in Exeter. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Coordinate and manage site-based civil engineering projects, including surfacing, paving, curbs, drainage, and junction improvement.
- Site Surveys and Setting Out: Conduct site surveys, setting out, and levelling to ensure accurate project execution.
- Quality Control: Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
- Project Planning: Assist in the preparation of project plans and schedules.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Civil Engineering Degree: Hold a degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar site-based engineering role, preferably in highways or civils works.
- Qualifications: Hold relevant qualifications such as HNC/HND in civil engineering or equivalent, SMSTS, and CSCS Black.
The Package:
- Salary: £35k-£43k + car/car allowance.
- Working Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
- Overtime: Opportunities for overtime available.
