Residential Children's Team Lead

At CareTech Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our Residential CSE team in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the statement of purpose.
- Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager.
- Support and manage staff to enable them to meet the needs of children and young people.
- Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate.
- Manage child protection concerns and complaints.
- Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people.
- Offer supervisions and support to senior staff in line with care quality standards and Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
Requirements:
- NVQ 3 in caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
- Understanding of Ofsted framework (SCCIF).
- 12 months experience working in a residential setting with young people with challenging behaviour, including supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of the Children Act and other relevant legislation.
- Team Building Skills.
- Supervision Skills.
- Ability to manage teams effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate and enthuse staff.
- A Full UK driving licence is required due to the location and nature of the role.
