Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a forward-thinking department that delivers high-quality Computer Science lessons, fostering students' interest and skills in this essential field.

 

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering engaging and innovative Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 based on experience.
  • Developing students' knowledge and skills in computing, programming, and problem-solving, promoting critical thinking and digital literacy.
  • Preparing and assessing coursework, providing constructive feedback to help students progress.
  • Working collaboratively with other department members to contribute to curriculum planning and development.

 

 

Candidate Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level.
  • Sound understanding of the UK curriculum and current assessment practices in Computer Science.
  • Passion for technology and digital education, along with a commitment to student success.
