Job Title: Road Safety Monitor

Are you passionate about ensuring the safety of children? Do you have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently?

Hampshire County Council is seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Road Safety Monitor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital part in guiding children safely across roads during designated times.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a professional demeanor at all times, demonstrating traffic awareness and making decisions accordingly. They will also need to ensure the safe passage of children across roads and work effectively as part of a team.

We offer a competitive salary range of £6,494 per year, equivalent to £12.45 per hour, and a permanent contract. This role is based in Southampton Road, Bartley, and requires working 10 hours per week during term time.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have basic IT skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. A uniform will be provided to protect you against the elements while working outdoors in all weather conditions.
