Job Introduction
Join us as a Craft Attendant based at Ty-Coch, Cwmbran. In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining and upgrading our electricity infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs, replacements, and constructions of assets as instructed.
- Promote a culture of health, safety, and quality at all times.
- Prepare work sites, erect signs and barriers, and excavate as required.
- Install and maintain equipment, including meters and cut-outs.
- Provide first aid where necessary and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Assist team members and assess site risks to minimize adverse impacts on customers.
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills, who can work independently and as part of a team. A full driving license is desirable, and some electrical experience would be an advantage. However, full training will be provided. National Grid Electricity Distribution is committed to safeguarding its interests, colleagues, and customers, and this role is subject to a satisfactory Barring Service check.
