As a Health and Safety Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of employees and the environment. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide expert advice on health and safety-related issues and act as the primary point of contact for health and safety matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health and safety considerations into project planning and execution.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
- IOSH Certificate or Diploma
- Proven track record in the use of quality tools such as 8D, FEMEA, Ishikawa, Root cause, Kaizen/Six Sigma & 5Y associated quality tools
- Knowledgeable understanding of ISO 9001 and adherence to additional standards, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Up to £42,000 basic salary
- Performance Profit Related Bonus (PPRP) - a discretionary bonus of around 8% of salary paid annually
